Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”, “Terms of Use”) carefully before using the https://samuelsencosmetics.shop website (the “Service”) operated by Samuelsen Cosmetics (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

Terms of Trade


SAMUELSEN COSMETICS accepts payments through VISA and Mastercard payment solutions. All prices displayed are before shipping costs, but any sales tax and additional fees are included. We use an authorized payment gateway, that encrypts all of your card details, with SSL (Secure Socket Layer). This means, that no one can read your information.

As you may have been informed, we are experiencing longer shipping times due to our order process, which at first is controlled by demand, as we are building storage. When we receive your order, you can expect waiting times up to 14 days, for the product to ship. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience. When the product arrives to us, normal shipping and delivery procedures apply. Please see below.

Residents of Faroe Islands

We ship domestic orders Monday through Friday, using Posta. Please note that shipments outside of Streymoy may be delayed one day. All orders received before 09:00 (09:00 am) Faroese time (GMT) will be shipped the same day. If you have not received your order, please contact us at centre@samuelsencosmetics.com and we will ensure a quick delivery.

International shipping

We ship international orders Monday through Friday, using Posta. All orders received before 09:00 (09:00 am) Faroese time (GMT) will be shipped the same day, if possible. If not, the order will be shipped at the earliest convenience. Please note that shipping costs may vary greatly, depending on where you are located.


When you shop with us, you are given a 2-year warranty, in accordance with the Faroese Sales Law (Act No. 102 of 06/04/1906 on Purchases as last amended by Løgting Act No. 40 from 06/05/2015).

This warranty applies to errors in material and/or fabrication.

SAMUELSEN COSMETICS will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

If you have been granted a refund, please follow the instructions in the e-mail you have received from us.

Regret Policy

14 days regret policy is given on goods purchased in our webshop.
The period is calculated from the day you receive the order.

You must pay the return costs yourself.

Your wish to receive a refund must be conveyed to us no later than 14 days after receiving the order. The shipment must also be returned to us, within 14 days of us receiving your notification. If this is not possible, please contact us, at centre@samuelsencosmetics.com.

The notification must be given per mail at centre@samuelsencosmetics.com. In the announcement you must make clear to us that you wish to exercise your right of regret.

The item’s condition when you return it
You will only be liable for any deterioration of the value of the product due to handling other than that necessary to determine the nature of the product, its characteristics and the manner in which it operates. In other words – you can try the item in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store.

If the item is tested in addition to what is described above, we consider it as used, which means that upon cancellation of the purchase you will only receive part or nothing of the purchase amount, depending on the merchandise’s commercial value.

In order to receive the entire purchase amount, you must do the same as you can in a physical store. You may test the item, but not actually use it.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Faroe Islands without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.


We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
